60s fashion
The fashion of the 60s is marked by social upheaval. Lesley “Twiggy” Lawson, the first supermodel, is the face of the era. Tweed suits, tulip skirts, but also crumpled lacquer leather, a novelty, and boots to the “mini”, this is the fashion of the 60s. The flower power movement liberates from all dress restrictions. It is true: the more flashy the better, psychedelic colour combinations, graphic patterns, oversized belts, courrège and bell-bottomed pants are part of the image of the time.
